Before man existed there were, and still are, billions of heavenly creatures identifiesd as "angels". These creatures are
vastly superior to man in every way. They have bodies of light and an extremely well developed intellect, and they live
in the very presence of God in Heaven. There are many other charactaristics of this creature which we will not examine
here, but suffice it to say that angels are only creatures, as we are, and yet they were endowed with natural attributes
which far surpass even the greatest of men.
By the way, "angel" is derived from a Greek word which means "messenger", and we can trace the purpose for this name
back to the fact that God many times has employed these superior creatures in communicating with us. Other angels have
specific jobs related to man which God has assigned them, such as our guardians. But "angel" is a word which only came
into use with the advent of man, and we donnot know what this race of beings were called before that time. Although
this is assumption on my part, I feel secure in stating it because there was nobody to communicate with prior to man,
thus there was no logical purpose for a messenger. At any rate, they are called angels now.
The most glorious of these creatures was one called Lucifer, Son of the Morning.
"How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst
weaken the nations!"(Isa:14:12)
Lucifer was a class of angel called "cherub", which was the highest ranking class of angel, and he was the the highest
of all Cherubs, for his appointed station was God's "Annoited Cherub", and his office was standing watch at the "Holy Mountain".
"Thou art the anointed cherub that covereth; and I have set thee so: thou wast upon the holy mountain of God;
thou hast walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire." (Ezek:28:14)
I should mention, at this point, that there is a structure to the heavenly social order, as evidenced by the subject at hand.
Even in heaven there is no absolute equality as we would define it. Freedom makes this so, and freedom is God's objective in
His government. This is a point which would eliminate many of the problems of mankind if it were understood. The best we
can do is provide equal opportunity, but free creatures will not all exercise their options to their greatest advantage,
thus there is not, and never will be, a society where all people are absolutley equal. Besides, who wants it? I remember
seeing a picture once of the Chinese in Tinanmen Square, and I was impressed by the fac that they all looked exactly
alike! Anf their similarity was not flattering, but dull. They all had these gray, mouse colored jackets, yuk! This is
the natural consequence when you try, by tyranny, to impose sameness. I'll take the ghettos anytime!
There is little in the Bible that explains exactly what Lucifer's duties consisted of, but enough to establish the fact
that his was an exaulted position among the angelic civilization. He is also described as the most beautiful creature ever
to come from God's hand. The verse, below, is a description of an angel with skin that reflected the many faceted hues of
various gem stones under intense light, and a voice with mesmerizing resonance. Add to his breathtaking beauty an intellect that
can only be described as multi-genius, and powers second only to God, Himself.
"Thou hast been in Eden the garden of God; every precious stone was thy covering, the sardius, topaz, and the
diamond, the beryl, the onyx, and the jasper, the sapphire, the emerald, and the carbuncle, and gold: the workmanship of
thy tabrets and of thy voice were prepared in thee in the day that thou wast created." (Ezek:28:13)
But Lucifer's beauty worked a terrible hardship on him, by his own volition, for he was overcome by the lust to exault
himself, and even to sieze the ruling power over God's kingdom.
"For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the angels of God:
I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north:" (Ezek:14:13)
"By the multitude of thy merchandise they have filled the midst of thee with violence, and thou hast
sinned: therefore I will cast thee as profane out of the mountain of God: and I will destroy thee, O covering cherub,
from the midst of the stones of fire. Thine heart was lifted up because of thy beauty, thou hast corrupted thy wisdom by
reason of thy brightness: I will cast thee to the ground, I will lay thee before kings, that they may behold thee.
Thou hast defiled thy sanctuaries by the multitude of thine iniquities, by the iniquity of thy conduct;
therefore will I bring forth a fire from the midst of thee, it shall devour thee, and I will bring thee to ashes upon
the earth in the sight of all them that behold thee."
(Ezek:28:16-18)
God was forced to deal with this insurrection, and He did so. But before He judged Lucifer, knowing that millions of other
angels actually sympathized with Lucifer, God presented the question to the angels in His world, "Which will you follow;
Satan or Me?", and a third of all the creatures in heaven lined up behind the devil. They, too, were beguiled by his
superior beauty and intelligence. We aren't told how many angels fell with Lucifer, but thwy were very likely in the
billions.
In effect, this situation paralleled our own dilemma, in that angels had to choose for or against God. Although the mechanics
of our salvation are far different that the angelic path to deliverance, for there was no Savior as we have, the identical
issue was at the heart of the matter; The exercise of our volition to either humble ourselves before our Creator, or defy
Him.
Thus, a dramatic event took place, a "trial" we will call it, in which Satan (translated as "lawyer for the defense"), and
his billions of followers, were sentenced to the lake of fire and brimstone. But the arrogant leader of the heavenly
rebellion had no intention of accepting his fate meekly, for he challenged the ruling of the Almighty, and a conflict began
which has continued to this very moment, and will continue for at least 1,000 more years.
God accepted Satan's challenge, and His answer was the human race. In effect, what God did was to place His very existence
in the hands of mankind, as it were, and His ruling went something like this; "I will create a new race of beings, inferior
in every way to the angels, and we will let THEM decide if your sentence is just and fitting, or if I am, as you charge,
not a Just and Loving God."
Here we have the undercurrent of all human history, and a the core function of our exsistence; When you remove all the
side issues, distractions, and peripheral circumstances, there is one single issue at work in history; The struggle between
good and evil. Virtually every decision you make is, one way or another, is a choice for one or the other. Granted, the
distinctions are many times blurred, but this is in keeping with the nature of this titanic conflagration.
On the one hand you have Satan, "The Father of Lies", whose modus operandi is deceipt, misdirection and propaganda. His
strategy was made clear in the garden when he seduced woman into disobeying God. There is nothing direct or unobscure in
Satan's system. He plays to the old sin nature, man's flaws and weaknesses, to affect his plans. Our lusts are his greatest
ally, and he uses his genius to discredit God, through our actions, whenever and wherever possible.
Let me make the point that this isn't fun and games, folks! The creature we're dealing with is extremely powerful, and evil
beyond anything we can imagine. Add to this ominous reality that he loathes the human race. His contempt of us is an
obsession. In his immense arrogance he is the epitome of predjudice, hatred, premeditated malice. We are bugs he is pleased
to step on, and the only humans that prosper in his system are those that he can use. In Satan's eyes, we are an invention
of God designed to establish his malfeasance, and make good God's ruling.
The devil has no concern for our welfare or safety. Any devious act is justified, in his view, to win this conflict at our
expense. What do you suppose would become of us if Satan were to win? He would wipe us out in a heart beat!
His contempt for us is manifest in what my pastor calls the season of "The devil's desperation", known to us as the Tribulation.
All other avanues exhausted, having come ot a dead end, the devil and his minions wil resort to the only method left to
them, violence. This is arrogance stripped bare, visible for all to see, and it works the same in human beings, when
persuasion and propaganda fail, and all the dirty tricks do not yield a satisfactory result, it turns to intimidation,
fear. When man will not respond favorably, cooperate with him, Satan will play his last hole card. Thus the Trib will be
a horrifying season on this planet.
All of Satan's most vile practitioners, like General Abadon (at present incarcerated in the abyss) and his legions, will
roam the earth, killing men at will. Even the remotest sign of defiance, and men will die. The Trib will be much like a
movie plot, so ghastly, so perilous that we cannot imagine it.
It is a reasonable question to wonder, since God is all knowing and perfect Justice, why did He allow the devil to prevail
in this matter of an appeal? There is no question that God knows the outcome of this foolishness, and He is the absolute
good and right, and He acts according to His eternal nature, which is to say that He doesn't waver in His judgements. Once
God declares a thing, it stands forever.
Ofcourse, there is a logical answer to this question, and as always, it reveals that our God is thinking of His beloved
creatures first, before Himself. You see, it is for the sake of the elect angels, those that remained faithful to Him, that
he permitted Satan to argue an appeal. They, and the elect, the persons of the human race than accept God's love and
receive salvation.
To return to the ruling of God in Satan's appeal; He announced thhe conditions; That He would introduce a race of inferior
cretures, and that they would decide, by the working of their volition, if Satan's charges were justified.
These creatures, to be called "man", would be enclosed in a controlled environment, bound to a tiny orb floating in the
universe called "Earth", and possessing only a very limited mentaility and absolutely no supernatural powers whatsoever.
In other words, man would be born under the influence of a foreign world, completely isolated from Heaven. If we pause and
consider the nature of this arrangement we can see the Justice of God at work, for in undertaking this experiment God was
giving Satan every possible advantage.
Not only would man be inferior in mentality and in physical ability, but he would be completely unaware of God's world,
or the nature of the circumstances which brought about his existence. Keep in mind that God knew exactly what would happen
in the garden, and the path of history in every minute detail, before He sanctioned the plan. He knew man would fall from grace,
and Satan would gain control of the cosmos by reason of Adam's failure. Furthermore, He knew that in a state of sin that man
would be vulnerable to the wiles of the cunning cherub that defied Him, and yet He set the plan in motion.
By reason of his limited mentailty man would be easy to deceive, and because of his sin nature, his predilection to sin would
make the devil's work so much easier. We can find abundant evidence of this in the newspaper, or in the circumstances of our
own lives, every single day. Men succum to greed, hatred, violence, crime, lasciviousness, envy, spite, jealousy, and hundreds
of other sins. None of us is without sin, and Satan has become a master at exploiting our weaknesses over the thousands of
years that this struggle has continued.
I would like to insert a thought that has occurred to me many times, and one I have never heard aired by anyone. There was one
thing Satan didn't plan for, when he persuaded the woman to sin, and it has beguiled him countless times; I refer to the
unpredictable nature of sinful man. Nobody can accurately anticipate what wickedness will do next, and this factor has
been a thorn in Satan's side. For one thing, tyranny and injustice alway commit the same fatal errors, they alienate the
governed, make enemies of society, and eventually "revolution eats its' own children". These tyranical rulers precipitate
their own destruction by an overindulgence in greed, power lust and violence.
So what, exactly, are the conditions of this appeal?
First, there is the matter of Satan's claim that no God who loves his creatures would condemn them to endless suffering. What
he fails to consider in this ridiculous charge is that creatures have a volition, and are free to act by their own choice.
There is no question that God loves us, but His love cannot overrule His attributes of Righteousness and Justice, those
charactaristics of God's nature which become issues when lawlessness is found in His creatures.
The fact is, all those who will one day inhabit the lake of fire will have this one thing in common; They will all have
rejected God, not the other way around. There will be absolutely no difference between the saved and the damned, as far as
their worthiness is concerned, for all men fall short of God's glory. The one difference, and the critical factor, will be
that some humbled themselves and asked for God's forgiveness, and others refused to do so. It's just that simple.
So, Satan's indictment of God's love is baseless, for God has clearly demonstrated that he loves every man. "He so loved
the world that He gave his [uniquely born] Son..." to be our substitute and endure the agony of divine judgement for sin.
The passages in the Bible which reveaal God's love for us are many.
So, with the issue of divine love put to rest, the question arises; "what is Satan trying to accomplish in this time and
place?". The answer is introduced, in short, by his initial motive; to "set himself above the stars of God". The stars in
that verse refer to the angelic population of heaven, and the motive reveals the devil's driving passion in all he does. He
intends to prove that he can better manage creation than God can. He actually believes that he can out-do God! And, he has
been striving to prove that foolish notion for thousands of years!
One of the many thrusts of Satan's plan for conquest is showing God up to be a liar. If he can prove this, he wins the case
by default, because God cannot be God if He commits a sin. This angle in the devil's strategy is the explanation, in major
part, for the terrible persecution of the Jewish people. You see, God has made many promises to the Jews, all recorded in
the old testement. He promised Abraham the land of Israel, and even laid out the boundaries of that promised land. To David
he promised a line that would rule forever, and there are many other unconditional guarantees that God has given the Jews.
If the Jews can be eradicated, Satan wins! Thus, he has sponsored the systematic destruction of the Jewish race on many occasions,
the most recent being the attack of Hitler and his cronies. But Germany is only the latest in a long line of nations that
singled out the Jews for annhialation. There were the Assyrians, the Chaldeans, The Philistines, and in more modern times the
Communist Russians, the French under Louie the XIV, and Spain under Isabella and her notorious high priest, Torquemada.
Hardly a nation on earth, except two that I am aware of (Denmark and The United States), have been consistent supporters of
the Jews, and much blessing has come of it, for God swore that those who curse the Jews, He will curse, and those who bless
them, He will bless.
So, here we are, living amidst a war which we cannot see or hear, or even become aware of by any other means than God's
Word, for Satan has not informed us of it, and the truth will never pass his lips to any soul.
"For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against nations, against powers, against the rulers
of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places." (Eph:6:12)
We can, however, see the ramifications of this conflagration. It is not man, alone, that organizes vast armies and attacks
their neighbors, taking all they see by force, and bringing down death and suffering on thousands. We are on the hot seat,
for it is we, the lowest of all created beings, whose testemony will send Satan to hell for eternity. It is small wonder,
then, that we warrant such concentrated attention.
But I haven't touched upon the most genius of Satan's strategies; Good. This aspect of Satan's personality and policies
were the most surprising to me when I first became a Christian. I had always cast Satan as a hideous fellow with a red
epidermous and a forked tail, and his shenanigans were always wicked in the extreme. This, however, could not be farther
from the truth!
The devil's most effective thrust is his good. Remember, Satan must out-do God, and his couterfeit righteousness, and the
"good deeds" that come of it, are the most seductive tactics of all. It is thus critical that we inform ourselves of this
super creature, and the one weapon that he cannot overcome; Truth, as found in God's Word.
Lest you mistakenly assume that Satan has not been successful in his "good" campaign; lets have a look at some of the best
examples of Satanic good;
Now here's a shocker for most Christians; religion is his most popular and most destructive ploy in our history!
It is religion, remember, that crucified Christ, and religion that will be his greatest ally in the Trib
(The scarlet whore), but there are many more historical illustrations of this Trojan Horse within the bastion of
christianity.
Queen Isabella of Spain gave unlimited powers to a man named Torquemada, her High Bishop of the Catholic Church. The
campaign of fear and intimidation he orchestrated is one of the most evil pages in human history. Under his auspices,
thousands of innocents were burned at the stake, supposedly to liberate their vile souls, and purge them of evil. The
fear of his depredations immobilized Spanish society, and led to the mass migration of the Jews that had settled in
Spain, many of them 3rd and 4th generation.
The same Isabella sent armies abroad, always brandishing the cross, to attack the pagans of South America, and even our
territory, and gather gold for the crown.
My own ancestor, once a prominent nobleman of Ivleary, in Ireland, was hanged from the gate of his own castle when Lord
Cromwell, acting in the name of the English crown, toured the British Isles on his campaign to legitimatize the Chruch of
England, which had split from the church of Rome. To accomplish this, he rode accross Ireland and Scotland and demanded
that every sole denounce their allegence to the church of Rome. When they declined to do so, they were summarily
executed.
Of lesser severity, the Puritans, which made up a large contingent of those who settled the colonies, practiced tyranical
laws which demanded morality of the citizens, another flagrant violation of freedom. Morality is not the concern of the
law, and when it is, the result is gross injustice.
There are scores of such historical examples, but these should suffice to make the point that Satan is in the religion
business.
The old saying; "If you can't beat 'em, join 'em" may have been originated by the devil, because this cat is patient,
biding his time, and working his way into our Christian organizations gradually, luring unsuspecting believers into his
web with the oldest trick in the book; using truth to conceal the lie. Using compassion to conceal the monster of tyranny
and injustice. If he can't entice practicing Christians away from their churches, then he will insinuate himself into
thier conregation and sponsor one little distraction over here, and another over there, until he has compromised the
true good altogether.
Any church that has conditions on salvation is under Satan's sway. I know, nothing will make a devout Christian madder, faster,
than to insinuate that their church is the agent of the devil, but the truth is the truth, and if what I have to say here
makes you angry, I suggest that you swallow your jackass pride and look at the facts, not what you want to believe!
One prominant denominantion claims you can't be saved without baptism. This is a lie right from the pit of hell, from
Satan's own repetoire. Only faith in Christ is effective for our salvation, and there is nothing we must do in addition
to believeing in Him to be saved.
Another, even bigger, church is so full of fallacies I don't know where to start; They pray to a human being, which is a
huge insult to God the Father, who is always the Person of God that we direct our prayers to. I defy anyone to find one
word in the Bible that mandates us to pray to Jesus, or The Holy Spirit, much less a human being! The Father is the authority
figure of the Godhead, recognized as such by both The Spirit and The Son.
They also have many conditions on salvation, suggesting that we can lose our redemption for certain heinous sins, another
outright lie. Someone should have told Jesus Christ that His work would be just partially effective, He left some loose ends.
Sorry Lord! This church claims that you didn't suffer the punishment for ALL sins after all! Better rewrite the Holy Book and
include that fact so it can be explained in the gospel. "Believe in The Son of God and you will be saved, almost. After
that you have to live a pure life, give to the church, yada, yada, yada".
You can also lose your salvation by being picked out of their church! Man! Talk about a power play! Talk about a gigantic
arrogance! Here again, someone better let God know this so He can include it in the Gopsel message..."you also have to join
such and such a church to be saved."
Stick around, there's more!
This same outfit tells people that there is a half-way house on the way to hell, and if you burn enough candles you can
get them a reprieve. God is really behind the times, I guess. Here's another development He hadn't included in the Bible.
Let's see, oh yeah! They have a head man that has the authority, according to this bunch, to write or speak ex-cathedra,
meaning he can literally change what's in the Bible (God says it's ok).
They have a system where people confess their sins to a human being, another malpractice which runs counter to our Royal
Priesthood. God says we are to confess our sins to HIM! 1John 1:9 says; "If we cite our sins He is faithful and just to
forgive us our sins, and purify of us of all wrong doing". Ofcourse, this organization wouldn't want this to get out, because
they intimidate millions of people into donating vast sums of money as "repentance" for their sins. What a racket!
I know so much about this church because I was involved in it as a boy. The funny thing is, in all the times I went
to church with Mom I never got more than sore knees out of the deal. They never taught me squat, because the sermon was in
some foreign language. Can you imagine a bigger waste of a Sunday? Sitting and listening to some guy wearing some fancy
clothes babbling in a language I couldn't understand!
Now, if you belong to this church (which I doubt...these folks don't dabble in other religions because they can get booted
out of their church!), you are pretty steamed up right now because I'm poking fun at what you believe. Let me say this; it
takes all the self discipline I've got to restrain myself from really blasting this evil outfit! From the standpoint of the
angelic conflict, they have joined forces with Satan! Oh yeah, I forgot, some of their churches teach that you have to
be christened, which is baptism for a baby, to be saved. So, there are many of these folks running around who think they have
salvation, but they're on their way to hell, and I don't mean pergatory...I mean Gehenna, as a full blown member of the
"Damned for Eternity" crowd.
I won't back off one damned inch when the truth is at stake! I don't make a point of ridiculing people in general, but
when an organization like this, or any enemy, parades itself as divinely sanctioned, and all the while they brainwash
the ignorant, and assure that they will not be saved...my opinion of them is lower than low!
Perhaps the truth will jar just one of those poor folks loose of that bunch, in which case any nasty email I get is more
than worth it! Like the man said; "You're either fer us, er agin us!". This is how it comes down in the angelic conflict.
There ain't no fence sitters, no neutrals. You either serve God, or you serve the forces of darkness. There may be many
fine shades of gray in determining what is what, the devil has seen to that. But every thought in every human soul falls on
one side of the line or the other.
So, religion is Satan's ace trump. But there are many other allegedly "good causes" that are sponsored by the devil, himself.
One of the most dangerous "good" organizations which threatens our freedom is environmentalism. While the average American
has been asleep at the wheel this huge movement has become extremely powerful, well funded, and evil to the core. They are
in the business of imposing their self-righteous, legalistic point of view on millions of Americans with no concern for
the suffering they cause.
I have seen this cruel, insidious evil at work first hand.
In the town I grew up near (I lived far out in the country), Libby Montana, the lumber business employed, and prospered,
probably 80% of everyone in the country, and the other 20% depended on the revenues that came from that enterprise for their
livlihood as well; Police officers, teachers, small business owners...lumber was the life's blood of that entire region.
And the same was true for that whole wide belt of states along our northern border.
Then, one fateful day, the spotted owl raised it's ugly head. Ever hear of the spotted owl? Well, let me give you some advice
folks, Don't drive through Montana, Idaho, Oregon or Washington with any bumper sticker that identifies you as an
environmentalist. You probably won't get far without slashed tires, and a whole lot of very hostile looks. You see,
environmentalism destroyed the lives of those millions of people.
What used to be a bustling, busy little town is more like a ghost town today. You won't find many young people there
either, because they have no future in the country they love. The lumber business is a thing of the past. All the big
mills along that belt are idle, abandoned. The busy streets are quiet, except for an influx around tourist time. The economy
in Monatna is so terrible I had to move my family to the midwest to find a job.
And what is the justification for this tragedy? The well being (supposedly) of some owl that no Montanan has ever even seen!
They nest along the coast of Oregon. And if one of them is ever unfortunate enough to stray into Montana, scratch one owl!
It'll be a race to see who reduces him to a pile of bloody feathers first.
This is a classic example of Satan's good at work. God is in the freedom business, Satan is in the tyranny business. One
sure give away that will always identify Satanic good is that it limits freedom, deprives people of their right to
self-determination, self-reliance. In this case, helping the poor, almost extinct animals is their rallying cry, but true
to Satan's colors, these people always demonstrate the same disregard for the welfare and rights of free men.
Santanic good always plays to the emotions, "help the kids", "save the animals", "save lives...take away guns", yada, yada.
He is a master of manipulation, and knows all the right buttons to push. And lest you think the devil is less than a super
genius, his tactics have captured the minds of millions of people! They are devoted, loving, concerned people, all of whom
would be appauled at the suggestion that they serve Satan, but they do!
Here's a litmus test for divine vs. Satanic good; Divine good sponsors freedom, the individual liberty of every man. His
freedom has only one condition; You must obey the law. That is the only requirement a governing body has the right to
demand of you. When I say law, I mean law as it is supposed to be, not an instrument of tyranny. Except for the law,
God designed unconditional freedom.
Satanic good ALWAYS modifies freedom, takes away personal choice. To accomplish this with a minimum of complaint, he always
uses a popular rallying cry, something that appeals to the emotions, and something that, if someone speaks out against it,
he can be accused of being heartless, insensative.
I have already mentioned two prominent areas where Satan's influence thrives; Here is a list of other "causes";
Mandatory seat belts, anti-smoking, gun control, mandatory auto insurance, knee jerk litigation, and environmental laws.
Evil uses the law to control the free. It legislates morality, and takes free choice from the people by deciding what
is best for them. Providing for our "safety". The law is supposed to protect our freedom, not limit it.
Sure, free people will make stupid decisions, leave their seat belts off, smoke cigarettes, leave guns where kids will get
ahold of them...but it isn't the purpose of the law to correct our poor decisions. Accidents and tragedies are a price
we pay for freedom, but if you look at the numbers, only a very small percentage of people suffer from disaster as a result
of poor judgement.
How many people do you know that have had a child killed by an accidental discharge of a firearm? One? Two? Most of the
people I associate with own guns, and I don't know a single one. In fact, I don't know anyone who has ever had an accident
of any kind with a gun.
How many people did you know, before insurance was mandatory, that were hit by someone that could not pay for the damage on
their car? I never knew anyone that was. People without insurance, yes, but they all paid for the damage, and that was maybe
two or three people. Yet, we have a law that controls every person who drives a vehicle. Millions of us.
The last time a snail darter was declared extinct, what major impact did it have on your life? What small, yet noticable
impact? Let's go bananas with this; If half of the animals on earth were extinct tomorrow, what difference would it make in
your life? Not one damned bit!
Yet, environmentalism is a whole new power sphere in this country. Wetlands laws, and other eco-laws, drive the cost of
land development, sub-divisions, commercial sites, through the roof. A legitimate, honest business can be put out of
business by the U.S. Government, The EPA, for dozing a road across a wetland without miles of red tape and catering to a
whole gamut of bureaucrats. Yet, it can be dry as a bone! A wetland is any peice of ground that retains water for only
two months out of the year.
You will see steel studs in house walls soon, because common pine is ten times more costly today than 15 years ago. A lowly
yellow pine 2x4 costs more than a steel rail! The average price increase for the average home for wood is 10,000.00,
enough to drive the price out of many families' reach. Why is this? Save the animals? Hell no! Environmentalists hate
free enterprise! They attack any industry that is vulnerable to environmental issues; logging, mining, and thousands of
"dirty businesses", any plant that puts smoke into the air, or has waste to dispose of.
There is another, unheralded reason why many businesses are running for other countries; because environmental laws in this
country have gone insane. The cost of doing busiiness is just too high for many to survive. So they move to Mexico, or
Canada, or Malasia, or China, and millions of Americans have lost their jobs because of it. Well, just hang around, you
ain't seen nuttin' yet! Once evil gets up momentum, it eventually drops the facade and outright confiscates your property,
throws you in jail on ridiculous charges.
No? Don't believe it? Ask the building contractor who dozed out a firebreak in California a couple years ago. Fires were
out of control, and had already burned hundreds of home. His access to heavy machinery was his salvation. He had one of his
Catapillars clear a swath a hundred yards wide around his neighborhood. His measures saved his own home, and those of all
his neighbors. BUT...the dozer disturbed the habitat of the kangaroo rat, an "endangered species", and this man went to
prison.
Down in Texas a seizmoligist, a company that takes sound readings to discover oil deposits, was bankrupted because the
local EPA officials got word that he was going to take his trucks across wet ground to start a job. They got an injunction
to stop him becasue his vehicles would make deep ruts in the ground! 147 people lost their jobs, and the owner lost
everything.
Around Austin, in the beautiful hill country of that region, the dreams of hundreds of property owners were suddenly
dashed when the EPA declared the region the habitat of an "endangered species", the yellow warbler. Property values
plummeted because there is a severe restriction on construction of any kind, or any activity that alters the terrain
in any way. Many of those folks had invested in land as a retirement hedge, and others planned to build their homes
there. The amazing thing is, the decision to declare this bird endangered wasn't because the EPA was able to determine
it had dwindled in number, but they ASSUMED it was endangered because the juniper trees in that area, the tree where a
yellow warbler nests, had been dying out due to a plague of the pine beetle.
A processing plant in Washington, built 30 years ago, provided so many jobs a small town developed around it. But the
town is dead today, deserted, because the EPA won a court ruling that denied it access to the river, which it needed to
process it's product (I forget what it was), and put them out of business. The reason? Because the water flow was too
low, when the plant was using the water, for a species of salmon to swim upstream to their spawning beds. Over 800 people
lost their jobs, their homes, their futures.
My father ran across a killer. He was talking with a logging contractor, one of the few who managed to survive, that told him
he was denied access to his timber sale with motor vehicles because of the "environmental impact", so this imaginative
fellow bought a dozen horses to skid his logs out to the road. The EPA found out about it and had the court order the logger
to use diapers on the animals! Yeah, DIAPERS! The reason? Horse crap has weed seeds in it and they wanted to protect that area
for unwanted weeds!
But the one that really grabs me is the case of the new freeway system aound Atlanta, Georgia. The state spent millions to build
the freeways, which Atlanta needed badly. The new highway would cut comute time by half and also save many lives. But as
they were just about ready to unveil this wonderful new network, a big environmental outfit, "Citizens for Clean Air",
or some nonsense, shut it down. They were angry that Georgia had not worked arduously enough to lower emissions in the
state, so they held them ransom, denying the openning of the new freeways, until they complied.
This is the bag and baggage of Satanic good, masquerading under false colors, claiming to do good, crying for the greater
good, yada, yada; while their agenda is to sieze power, to control. The true thrust of these mega-eco bullies isn't about
animals, or water, or air. The power brokers at the top savor the stature and influence they have gained. They can pick up
a telephone and be talking to a senator within a matter of minutes. And chances are, their request will be honored.
The whole of this world is Satan's domain. His territory, his rules. As Christians, we are in peril every moment. This is
our enemy's stronghold, and if God would permit it, he would snuff us out like so many fleas on the dog. But he is at
liberty to swindle us, cheat us, lie to us, decieve us. And he is very good at what he does. I'll bet not one single person
has come to this site, and read this section without getting angry. I have stepped on millions of Christian toes, becasue
many of my bretheren have commited to one or more of these causes.
So did you really think life was that cut and dried? Did you labor under the illusion that Satan would demurely refrain
from approaching a church, or hesitate to do good? If that's your position you are naive and foolish. You have underestimated
a cunning and dangerous enemy who wants you DEAD! Not just compromsed, but dead!
Look around. The vast majority of what you see is neck deep in the cosmic system, up to it's armpits in evil. Education,
government, juris prudence, business, professional organizations, labor unions, social clubs, religions, and now, how
very sad, the military is added to the list, one of the last hold outs...until this administration got their hooks into them.
One way or another, in some or all of their policies, every institution and organization in our world is playing into
Satan's hand. Very rare is the exception. There was a time when this was not true, but no longer. For America, the future
is uncertain and dark, for we have become a casualty in this raging war that we cannot see, except for it's manifestations
into our society.
Greed, hyper-sensativity, road rage, pettiness, senseless litigation, pampering criminals, criminal rights (what a joke!),
rampant crime, governement meddling, politial correctness, promiscuity, drug addition, alchoholism, pornography, dirty
business, welfare gone berserk, child abuse and molestation, spousal abuse, a 50% divorce rate and climbing, adultry,
violence, obsession with entertainment, garbage on television, more and more laws that control our lives...usurp our
options.
The only defense against the devil isn't common sense, or education, but Bible doctrine as taught by a prepared pastor,
one who studies in the Greek and Hebrew, and does not leave the matter of interpretation to the King James scribes
and scholars.
