Hello, my name is Nancy and I'd like to share some of my beaded creations with you. Although I have other hobbies such as painting, embroidery, crocheting and sewing my favorite pastime is beading. I've been beading for about eight years now. Being a self-taught beader, most of what I have learned about the craft has been from books and through trial and error. I enjoy working with all sorts of beads especially tiny seed beads to create jewelry, mostly earrings using hand woven technics. Having a knack for combining colors and shapes helps me bring my designs together. More recently I ventured out to include making pins, necklaces, bracelets and ornaments. Using one's imagination to create new designs and to try out new technics often brings about something new and beautiful to share with others. I started out making beaded earrings for family and friends as gifts, keeping a few for myself, but because I had received so many requests I began selling some of my earrings. I found this to be a great way to replenish my supplies. After all, you can never have too many beads.
