I call these my Lone Star Earrings!
Instructions
Using #11 seed beads; Starting at the center of the star...
Row 1: string 10 white beads, join to form a circle. ( Reinforce by
running thread completely around again.)
Row2: Add 3 white beads; skip 1 bead on first row and thread through
next bead. Continue around until you have 5 points, ending with thread
coming out from point bead (or 2nd bead of 3.)
Row3: Add 5 blue beads and through next point bead. Continue around;
ending with thread coming out of 3rd bead of 5.
Row4: Add 5 to 6 beads (depending on the uniformity of your beads) and
thread through next 3rd bead of 5. Continue around; ending with thread
coming out of 2nd bead of 6; add 6 beads to form loop, return thread
between 4th and 5th bead, run thread around loop again to reinforce.
Then thread through outer row to add fringe.
