(Warning Maybe Spoilers!) Yu Yu Hakusho the first anime I ever saw to tell you the truth. Tell you even more of the truth when I first saw it I liked it but could never see it again for some reason
(can't remember why it was to long ago.) Anyways the first episodes talk about mainly Yusuke. How he's hard headed, not to bright and died to save a life of a child (that's the first ep.) He did this when no one expected him to and he died not even on the right day because the kid he saved
wasn't going to die either meaning he died for nothing (odd isn't it.) So after now knowing this he hangs around for a while and then decideds he will do something in order to gain his life back. For a few episodes he helps people out including his arch rival Kuwabara who later on becomes a
good friend of Yusuke's. After brought back to life Yusuke is sent on a mission to get back 3 artifacts from the 3 demons who stole them, Kurama, Hiei and Gouki. These 3 aren't what you would say tight knit for Kurama after stealing the artifacts with Hiei and Gouki withdraws from the group
taking his treasure with him (not telling why.) The next 3 episodes has Yusuke fighting these 3, well except Kurama, and when he finally beats Hiei he becomes an honorary (not spelled right but I don't care) spirit detective. The rest of the season I'm not going to tell in to great of
detail because it's really long and I don't think you want to sit here are read it and I'm going to fast forward through some stuff. What I'll tell you is that nearing the end of the first season Yusuke and Kuwabara (willingly) go to Demon City in order to save their town from evil insects
that take control of you. When there let's just say it doesn't take to long for problems to accur and they are in need of help. I don't remember this part to well, but I do recall something coming from the sky and making a lot of bright light then Hiei and Kurama appear to help them out.
These episodes were some of my favorites sense Kuwabara and Hiei didn't get along too well and they kept fighting a lot (kuwabara at least Hiei just kept on ignoring him most of the time.) After that they all become a team (kind a) and go through a lot of stuff that is probably the biggest
pain in the butt. One of these pains is the Dark Tournament which they are forced to participate in due to the fact that Yusuke and Kuwabara have put their noses into the Underworld affairs and Hiei and Kurama have helped humans out. This series does have an ending that I know of with 112 episodes (me not seeing all of them but a lot.) It's a good series and is funny and serious all in one kind a like DK with the sometimes funny sometimes serious parts. If you have never seen this I recamend it to you
unless you don't like this type of anime.
