Remembering when....
[ old friends, collegues, and classmates reminisce ]
From what I remember he was a shy guy, but once he got on that stage he was a go getter. He joked around a lot and was always making my friends and I laugh. -Stacy
We used to compare Donovan to the character Nightcrawler from the X-Men comics. Because he was one of the nicest, most charming, people (and had the talent to pull off a german-speaking fuzzy elf as well). We told him this, to which he promptly responded by bowing over my hand, kissing it, and calling me Frauline (or however that is spelled). He seems to be the most wondered about person that went to our school - especially considering he was only there for a year. -Jennifer K
I went to school with Donovan in Germany at Ramstein Air Force base. We had the same teacher for 6th grade. That year, I was going through a horrid time with some older girls who were harrassing me every day. On Valentines Day I got a valentine from Donovan. It was just one of those little cards you hand out in school wishing a nice day, but on the back of the one that Donovan gave me he wrote a note that said, "To someone that really needs it." This was just a sweet moment when Donovan cared enough to try and make my day better. It has always stayed with me. I could not choose a better person for having the success and happiness in their life than Donovan. He is truly a caring and respectable person.-Audrey
