A piercing shriek rang throughout the busy school. It reached a high note that was rather familiar with all the students that roamed the halls, everyone scrambling to get to their classes. The morning bell, or any school bell, really does hold a lot of power in school. A lone figure hesitated to open the class door, hand trembling as it gave a sad attempt to even touch the doorknob. Stephen Adrienne Cougarr, a 16 yr. old albino female who goes by the name "Adri". Hater of math, lover of beautiful men, and too damn scared to go into math class because of a unit test the female knew she was going to fail. Adri curled a fist and scrunched her face, twitching as she walked away. I'll just skip math class today; she thought grimly, I'll just ask for a re-test another time. Realizing that other teachers may spot her, she tried to stumble towards the sick room. It was a rather amusing thing to watch, the snow white hair bobbing up and down as she tried to make her eyes glaze with pain while trying not to laugh at her attempt. Adri stumbled into the entrance, holding the oak door for support; the door was always open, and leaned against it. She raised her dark brown eyes and pulled a face when the Doctor came out, his white lab coat buttoned up for the first time. He raised an eyebrow at Stephen and she smiled before realizing what she was supposed to do. She immediately pulled on her best dramatic face.

"Doctor, Doctor! I have this insane headache that won't go away! My stomach hurts so much and oh.... my Spleen! The world is spinning! I'm getting dizzy! Make it stop!"

She suddenly fell down with her hand on her forehead in a melodramatic posture, the Doctor catching her easily in is arms as if this act was rehearsed often.

"Hmm...." He drawled, metallic grey eyes expressing sarcasm and amusement ", Math test again I presume?"
Stephen smiled sweetly at the 25 yr. old man. Ever since she first came to Excalibur high, they became fast friends because she had to be hospitalized for the first few weeks. She knew that she can trust this particular grown up, telling him all her secrets only Ellise would know as well. The man sighed "Alright, alright. Go take a bed but be quiet because I have a patient already resting." They exchanged smirks and the Doctor briskly left the room, Stephen fixing her skirt and tried her best to be as quiet as possible. The room was very, very wide, with rows of beds on either the left or right side of the white walls. Each had a curtain to shield other eyes, to keep privacy. There were at least 25 patient beds and Stephen tried to get to her spot that was closest to the Doctor's office. But being the clumsy person she is, she accidentally knocked down a tray that was on top of a drawer. The drawer was next to an occupied patient bed and suddenly the curtains were swept aside. "Hi!" The velvet, voice greeted her as she stared at the student with surprise.

Doctor Juros swept back his ash coloured hair, bangs parted at his right side that slightly covered his narrow eyes. On his way to the staff room, he spotted a male student, clutching his stomach and grimacing. Caligula coughed, meekly saying "Hey Doc.... I have a really bad stomach ache, head ache, and my spleen hurts". Dr. Juros paused to think along the lines of 'Where have I heard that line before?' before dismissing the dark blue longhaired male. "Go to the sick room and HAVE some REST,� the Doctor emphasized, giving a wink to the very confused student. "O�k..." Caligula replied, watching the Doctor enter the staff room before turning around.

"It's been a while hasn't it?" The stranger asked, Stephen just staring at him dumbly. "Why haven't you noticed me during these past two years?" The male retorted sarcastically, leaning closer towards the still confused female. Stephen blinked, entranced by his pale jade eyes and upon closer inspection, his eyes were flecked with gold. "What?" She asked, distracted. He chuckled. "You really don't know who I am? You're too much of an N00b". The words registered in her brain and she finally glared at the male brunette, ignoring the fact that he is good looking, and snapped with an "Excuse me?"
"Heh" he muttered, closing the distance between them and suddenly capturing her lips.
At that precise moment, Caligula walked in and froze in his tracks as he saw a female classmate of his getting kissed by a random guy. With dumbstruck eyes, he looked down, thinking that this was probably why the Doctor winked at him earlier. These two are doing their business, the male thought, irritated for some reason to see Stephen kissed by another dude.

The two parted lips and the stranger gave a rather devilish grin "Ahh well... I think I feel better so I'm gonna go now. Happy resting!" He smiled at the gaping female and winked, taking his leave. The student brushed past Caligula and there were only the two of them now, the female touching her lip. For some odd reason, that kiss seems so familiar...

Stephen and Caligula stayed the room for a full hour in awkward silence and in the opposite sides of the room. The dark haired male stared blankly up at the ceiling with Stephen's gaze downwards towards her toes. That kiss... Stephen sighed ...something about it seems so nostalgic. Digging deeper in her mind, unaware that the other patient kept his eyes on her from time to time, both didn't notice the arrival by another.
"Hey�� cried a bubbly voice, snapping the tension in two. �You skipped math class didn't you! � Stephen shivered and turned to look at her friend Ellise who pointed an accusing finger at her face. The female tried to hide her guilt and smiled sheepishly as those amethyst eyes that eyed her with amusement. "Just because of the math test!" the black- plum coloured hair swayed with her movements and Stephen was thinking how Ellise had "special help "from a "special friend". The albino female was about to open her mouth to say what she was thinking when the shorter female turned around and caught the side ponytail hair of Caligula trying to blend in the background as much as possible with a funny expression plastered on his face. Immediately, her eyes snapped in surprise. "Hey, you're in my math class! Oh my gosh you skipped TOO!?" Ellise shook her head, sighing. "Some people..."

She failed to notice the awkward silence that built up between Caligula and Stephen before she entered and the pointy-eared female continued to speak. "Well... I got to go... SOMEONE wants me to take him to his room to get a textbook" Ellise pointed at her left shoulder and Stephen raised an eyebrow and smirked.

"Wait... YOU can get past that guard!?" Stephen exclaimed "Holy crap! He's so...FREAKY!" Ellise just smiled at her friend's outburst and winked mysteriously, throwing a "See you later" as she strolled out the door.

Ellise walked towards the door to the boys' dorm, seeing a familiar tall figure guarding the only doors that lead in and out of the separate building. The two dorms were split from male to female and were opposite sides of each other. In the middle was the parking lot and way to the school, a giant cupid fountain standing playfully in the middle. Two strips of flower hedges outlined the building and the female smiled at Frandecine, the dorm guard. She called out innocently towards him and he turned around, intense dark green eyes suspicious at the approaching fairy girl. When he recognized the voice and appearance, he relaxed a bit, eyes more shy than predatorily. "Hey�� He casually said, a small blush creeping on his cheeks.
"I need to get something for him" Ellise stated, pointing at a light blue glow sitting on her left shoulder "Can I go in for a minute?" Frandecine's smile dropped a bit and he looked down.
"I don't know...you're a girl..." When he peered through his blonde bangs to look at the crestfallen girl, he blushed even more when she used her big puppy eyes, nodding helplessly when she muttered a small "please?" Frandecine studied the porcelain like face, noticing a beauty mark underneath the left eye. He stepped to the side "Ok...but only for a minute..." The earth dragon paused, �And call me if any guy picks on you! They can get pretty--" Ellise interrupted him with a hurried "Ok thanks!" and walked in before Frandecine finished his sentence. "--Horny..."

The hallways were dark and empty; the lone fairy girl already feeling shivers creep up her spine. Ellise never really had a good sense of direction and there she was, lost in the boys' dorm. The petite female failed to notice a small sound that blended so well in the background, listening to her own breathing as she tried to find her way around the marble halls and oak walls. She passed room 319, wondered why the door was ajar when suddenly, someone pushed her inside roughly. The fairy girl found herself sprawled on the floor and a silhouette appeared by the doorway. Her eyes widened as she recognized whom it was, the same male who stood against the moonlight with his cruel smile outside when she first came to this school. His mismatched eyes eyed her hungrily as he positioned himself on her, looking down at her fear stricken face. His black spiky hair stood up just as charmingly as it is and his side ponytail lightly touched her neck.
"Wow," Nero purred, slinking closer to her bare, slim neck, not paying attention on the details of her face for once "You have a pretty neck...Makes me want to...bite it".
Ellise watched him unsheathe his fangs as she struggled to move. Paralyzed! Her mind howled to her body, I'm paralyzed! Move, MOVE! Her heart raced and a sudden memory burst filled her mind; a woman widening her mouth as she unsheathed her fangs. Ellise tried to close her eyes at least as Nero's breath ghosted over her cool skin.
"I've never tried fairy blood before...MMmm�." The vampire almost sank his fangs in when his eyes caught an unknown glowing blue light on her shoulder.
"Firefly?" he muttered to himself in confusion and flicked it irritably, the glowing thing interfering with his lunch. A blue flash of light burst and filled the room all of the sudden. A male figure appeared, kneeling on the floor.
"Ooww..." He whined, rubbing the sore spot on his head and messing up his pale blue hair. The fairy boy Lei looked up and his sleepy tawny coloured eyes became cold as he saw an unfamiliar boy straddling his sleeping pillow, Ellise.
" Hey! What are you doing to her! ?" He demanded frostily, taking his fighting position while pulling out a kendo stick out of thin air. Feeling the after effects of hunger AND being disturbed while about to eat ticked Nero off to the core. The vampire hissed menacingly at the determined fairy boy, disgusted at the experiment�s translucent, glittery wings. Nero gracefully stood up and glared at those tawny eyes before glancing down at the immobilized female.
"Damn...I'll have my way with you another day." without saying goodbye, he stepped into the shadows and melted into the darkness.

Lei and Ellise walked through the last turn of the hallway until they reached a door that was numbered "420". Lei took out his key from his pocket and unlocked the door, both keeping their silent vigilance. When they entered the room, however, Lei stopped in the middle of the room striking a comical heroic pose. "Sooo..." He drawled, voice unnaturally sly ", since I saved you..." Ellise rolled her eyes and narrowed them, thinking how she knew that look since she usually saw it when Lei wanted something. He continued with a cat smile "You will let me sleep on your shoulder during math AND--"
"And!?" Ellise retorted.
"-I want Kim chi." Lei grinned.

Nero growled angrily, pacing around his dorm room. Thoughts of vengeance and hunger filtered in his mind as he remembered his humiliation against that stupid fairy boy and how he lost his lunch. "Damn it!" He cursed, mismatched eyes narrowed menacingly as he kicked a rather cute bear that belonged to his dorm mate. "I wasn't able to get SOME!" The bear ended up on the other side of the room face down. He paced around the room some more, wallowing in his temper until he heard giggling outside his window. Nero stole a glance at three girls strolling out at the front door and his eyes immediately scanned for the best looking one. He settled for the middle girl with her deep green eyes, coffee coloured curly hair, and a nice looking neck. "Hmm...." he furrowed his eyebrows "I guess that one would be good".

It was already night-time, everyone nestled in their dorms. The young vampire felt streaks of pleasure convulse within him as he sank his fangs in her neck. Nero straddled her as she moaned his name, bodies entwined under the blanket.

A shadow stopped in front of his dorm door, frustrated at the fact that he found himself locked out his room. "Aw Funk!" The 15 yr. old whined, shaking the doorknob "I forgot my keys! It's in my demonic teddy!" He gave a swift kick to his door in irritation "Stupid roommate! ARGH"

Meanwhile, in room 226, five girls sat in a loose circle, shuffling and playing cards. They kept their lights dim just in case anyone walked past their dorm. A redhead with hazelnut eyes piped up above the noise, looking at Chiqou as the tanned girl pulled a pair of aces "So...We can stay here again right?"
"Whaaaat? Why?" The tanned girl Chiqou complained, orange eyes annoyed. Marie-Christine gave a huge grin, running a hand through her bright red hair "Because Fridays are our roommate�s thinking day. Neko the dragon likes peace and quiet on Fridays like today! Plus I know you like it that way!" The werewolf winked at the human who rolled those same orange eyes "You can't RESIST me!"
Ellise placed triple twos down on the floor when Chiqou suddenly embraced her tightly. "No!" the human chuckled "It's because I love Ellise!" The werewolf's face dropped as she dramatically kneeled, arms outstretched in front of her.
"NOoOooOoOo! Rejection!" The circle laughed, Stephen who only gave a slight smile. Jane the elf gave Ellise a funny look, holding her cards down for a moment. "Why do you wear a lot of crosses anyway, Ell? Did you turn really religious?" The elf questioned, a bit interested at the possible answer "Ever since we arrived here you've been wearing a lot of them...AND they're all silver..."
"That's why I don't hug her!" the werewolf accused "I�m afraid that one of these days those things will poke and kill me!"
With everyone distracted with Marie-Christine's statement, Ellise quickly looked down and blushed heatedly, remembering what had happened earlier and was slightly thankful for having Lei with her at that time. Something rapt outside the main big window and it caught everyone by surprise. Stephen stood up and parted the curtains. A flying devil boy banged against the glass, comical desperation in his dark dull red eyes.

"Let me iiiiin!" he howled, urgency in his voice, and the group watched the boy flap his small, black angel like wings "My wings are getting tired and I don't want Lihad to see me!"

He scrunched his face in concentration as he felt himself tire and hover lower. Stephen muttered something about being an n00b and in sympathy quickly opened the window. The tired devil boy flung himself in, gasping and panting for breath near the circle. "What do you want!? This is the girls� dorm!" The werewolf, the human and the elf yelled at Daemon who was still catching his breath. The devil boy panted in between words as he tried to get his question out. "Can I stay" His breathing labored "here overnight?" Seeing the forest green glare of Jane got him to widen his eyes, pleading rather cutely. "Pleeeeease?!�
Again the human, the werewolf and the elf rejected his request with a loud "NOO! What wrong with you!? You're a boy! We're girls!" They all stood up beside each other and pointed at the boy still on the floor "This is a girl's DORM! Do you speak English!?�
Daemon, aka Dae, pointed his fingers together "But Jeremiah and Kres are already sleeping!" Marie-Christine rolled her eyes and bared her teeth "Where's your other friends?! Don't you have any!?� �No�." Dae replied sadly, wings drooping "Not yet because I'm an n00b and I just started and I don't know anyone yet except for you guys!" The devil boy then muttered darkly to himself "If only it wasn't for my horny roommate...I swear� he's gonna rape me one of these days..." That comment caught Ellise's attention. "Oh, who's you roommate?" she questioned softly. "Some guy name Nero! In room 319" Dae gave another comical face as the fairy girl's heart skipped a beat, "Oh...room 319?" The black haired boy nodded, his slightly messy hair sticking up even more. Everyone in the room except for Adri and Ellise exploded with "Oh! Isn't that Caligula's younger brother?" Ruffled, Ellise stood up quickly and went to her corner, Dae giving her a funny look. "I'm sleeping early" she quipped, burying herself underneath the covers. The blonde elf sighed dreamily "Isn't he a vampire now? He used to be full angel". Two gagging sounds echoed in the room and it was easy to distinguish were the sounds came from. One from the corner and one from the circle who sounded suspiciously male.
"Vampires are the most evilest, ugliest, and horniest creatures in the whole entire world. And I think they should die by being stabbed in the heart..." the person in the corner said in a very loud voice and added "...with a stake". With that done, Ellise fell into a deep sleep. Jane then cocked an eyebrow. "What's with her?" she questioned, giggling, "Vampires are so sexy! Anyway, I miss Mitchell so much! I wonder what he's doing?" Jane turned to Chiqou and Marie-Christine, leaving Adri to speak with Dae.
"Uhh...About...your roomy�� Adri hesitated for a second "He has an older brother right?"
Dae immediately chirped "Yea...Cali-something� Cali-something Lawrence Artemis I think"
Stephen scratched her head, gripping her white strands for a moment. "Whatever" She then pointed at the farthest corner of the room "You sleep in THAT corner". The devil boy's jaw dropped on the floor "Aw! Why can't you sleep with me? I need my demonic teddy..." Adri only gave a bleak face as she replied in a monotonous voice "You're a devil remember?"

Surprisingly that night, everyone slept well.
