Susan's Moose Page

This title has nothing to do with the articles here. All of these Susan wrote for either a class, my website, or simply herself. Some of these are stories she has written, deal with the film, EverAfter, and a few deal with things Susan and I did when we first met. As we were married May 4, 1980, some of these deal with things from 20+ years ago.

Sue wanted her stories and articles posted so here they are..

Sue's Stories

• "Mommy, Daddy, Take My Hand"
  What started me on making the Freedomland website was this article
• "Travels Along an Abandoned Roadway"
  What we did when we first met was walk along this roadway, the Long Island Motor Parkway
• "The Ghost of Ellis Island"
  This is something we also did when we first met
• "New Hampshire"
  This we did on our return to New Hampshire over Labor Day. We now go twice a year, and yes..we have been taking small roads like this since... but not this road.. For those of you who are wondering, yes it is on the map from Waterville Valley to Center Sandwich, which was where we were headed.
• "One Halloween Night"
  This story Susan told me is based on her growing up in Long Beach, NY..where there was a house like this.
• "The Best of Friends"
  This story meant a lot to Susan. She also calls it her Holocaust Story
• "A Hope for the Future"
  This is a story that was inspired by the tragic events of September 11, 2001
• The Next set of stories are based on the characters from the film, EverAfter , starring Drew Barrymore, and Dougray Scott, one of Susan's favorites!
  • "The Gap"
    This was written as a filler for the films missing scenes
  • "Plato's Ride"
    This is an alternative to EverAfter.. with a rather hilarious scene in the woods
  • "Under the Boardwalk"
    This is the modern retelling that Susan did which happens here on Long Island
  • "For Love of Rodmilla"
    Another EA alternative
  • "Until We Meet Again"
    and another EA Alternative
  • "Ghost of a Chance"
    A ghostly EA alternative
  • "Doubles"
    This story is a not so serious version of the Prince and the Pauper. Will be followed by Doubles, Part II, the Sequel and will continue in Doubles Part III, The Trilogy
  • "Doubles2 : The Sequel"
    

  The following stories are set in a storyline called AfterEverAfter

  • "AfterEverAfter"
    This deals with the children
  • "AfterEverAfter-Once upon a Time"
    This also deals with the children (a different set) as well
  • "AfterEverAfter-The Homecoming"
    A story about the events right afer the film, and other family members
  • "AfterEverAfter-Changes"
    and onward....
