Jack
Miniature Dachshund Owned By: F.C.

Jack is my two year old Miniature Dachshund. He is such a mommy's boy. He loves to play with anything he can get his little paws on, and he is a VERY smart little guy. Every morning he wakes up at the same time - 9:00 a.m. If I get up at 7:00 a.m. - he won't even get out of the bed. He is always in bed by 11:00 p.m. If I am up late, I can find him by going to the bed, and digging under the blankets. Sure enough, he will be curled up in a ball sleeping. Jack is a great protector too! Even though he only weighs about twelve pounds, he is very brave.

During the day, he will follow me everywhere, no matter what. If I go into the restroom, he will sit outside the door. If I don't come out within "his time limit" he starts crying. Jack can also "sing." He has such a beautiful voice *wink*. I could not imagine my life without Jack.

I have a Pom named Max. He is the very best dog I've ever seen or known. He waits for me every day for me to come home and we play till it's time for us to go to bed.

He is a little over a year old and I just love him more each day. I hope Max is with me for a very very long time. I will always love this wonderful furry bundle of joy!

My dog Maggie is a female beagle. She is VERY playful.

She has gotten two awards in agility!! I am SOOOOOO proud of her. She's my little teddy bear. She absolutely LOVES cats!! (They don't like her much though, she's usually too playful with them.)

I have a really sweet Pomeranian named Jag. He's a wonderful pet. I love him SO MUCH! He's my Pomeranian, my very own pet.

Some people do not know what a Pomeranian is. Here's a short summary of the breed. The ancestors of this popular toy dog, the Pomeranian, were large northern sleigh dogs and herd dogs. The Pomeranian's size has been bred down through the years, to what has become today's adorable model. Intelligent, agile, cheerful, and friendly, the Pomeranian is a brave watchdog and wonderful companion. Pomeranians are my favorite breed.

Jag is quite a small Pom, only 4.8 pounds. He's dark in color, with intelligent brown eyes and a furry coat. He'll sit on my lap when I read, lay by me when I watch a movie, and sit on the computer desk while I'm on the computer. He loves to be around me and close to me, and I love to be close to him also. I got him on February 6, 1999 as a total surprise from my parents. I had been wanting a toy dog for a long time but I had not expected them to buy me one! :)

I get weak at the knees when I look into his thoughtful brown eyes, and my mom says I'm in love - with my dog! It's true, I guess I am...because he's so cute! I'm going to tell you just what I think of him - he's cute, furry, smart, pretty, nice, sweet, wonderful, a companion, such a "sugar-pie," and plenty more.
