::: Clips of the previous Saturday Shockwave are shown. Impact is seen giving Johnny Northern Lights his finisher. Impact is then shown winning the match and becoming the number one contender for the television title. The screen fades to black. Jim Ross is shown with Impact backstage. The fans cheer wildly at the site of Impact. As the cheer dies down, Jim Ross begins to speak :::

JIM ROSS: Well Impact, it seems you were successful in your previous match against Johnny Northern Lights to become the number one contender. Now your going to be up against Degenerate. What are your thoughts about your next opponent? 

IMPACT: First off, it seems I have come along way J.R. First I was a rookie here in EMF, nothing, a nobody. Now, I'm the number one contender for the Television Title. Do you understand what that means? It means I'm next on the line for a title shot. I'm the man who's gonna face Degenerate. Degenerate, you have held that title for quite a while. But like most other champions, in time they lose it to a newer, improved version of themselves. Now I'm not comparing me and Degenerate, no no, I'd be giving him TOO much credit. I am merely stating the obvious, and the blatent obviousness of it all is that it is Impact's time to shine. It's my time to prove to the rest of the world that the Television Title should and will be mine. Just like I said last week, that Television Title means something to me. To me the prize isn't holding the title, it's holding the honor that the Television Title comes with. Week after week, throwing out all you have, your heart and soul, so you can keep it. Well Degenerate, I reward you for taking along this task, but it seems the torch will be passed down next week on Saturday Shockwave.

JIM ROSS: Impact, I am just figuratively speaking here, if you were to win the TV Title, what changes would you make once you have it? 

IMPACT: What changes? I'm gonna bring an end to future Title History. Because once I own it, everyone else might as well say goodbye to their chances, cause nobody will be able to beat me, not for the Television TItle, not even in regular matches. You might as well giving me the title of invincibility, because I will never give up, never surrender, and never quit. You see what Impact lacks in wins, he makes up for in stability. That means once you have me in the ring Degenerate, I have your ass for the next Thirty Minutes. I'm gonna lift it up a notch in the ring to how you just how serious this is to me. See Degenerate, I could stick any one in your place. But fate however does not change. You must except your fate like I must except mine. However mines involves 15 lbs. of solid gold wrapped around my waist. Yours involves you lying down unconcious being swept out of the ring like yesterday's news. You see Degenerate, change is good. It helps the economy, it helps the manufactural businesses and now it will definetly help the EMF. Once there is a new Television Champion, there will be nothing but losers when I walk among them. Degenerate, I am known for making an Impact on the lives of others. And I am determined to do so. You see friendship for me is not based on who I talk to backstage, it's based on who I am fighting in the next week on the card. Your probably wondering well, are the people on the cards his friends or not. Well to me it's a double edge sword. Cause there are my friends and my enemies, and depending on the outcome of Saturday Shockwave will in fact effect my opinion on you greatly. If there's anything you need to watch out for more, it's the man with the five letter name, the moan who's the number one contender for YOUR Title, the soon to be legend of EMF... Impact. And that's my final word to you J.R., and like the great Tony Montana said "In this world, I only have my balls and my word ... and I don't break 'em, for nobody".
