Character Description: A thief from the Ragnarok manga.

Commentary:

I'd never read this manga before, but since Liz had done a cosplay favor for me, I did this one for her. She seemed really cute in the manga, though. :P

top: Made from a basic stretch top with sleeves added. I sewed it first, and then dyed it, not realizing that it might shrink, and it did. -_- It was ok, though, just a little short. I tucked it under my bra for extra assurance. :P fingerless gloves: I still haven't gotten the hang of gloves yet. The lycra I used for this didn't seem to stretch as well as I thought. I hand basted the colored ribbons and then sewed them to the glove. It was really tight, so it was pretty much a one time wear type of thing. shoulder guards: I covered kid's sized knee pads with white stretch fabric, hand sewing the whole damn thing. I simply attatched them to my shoulders with heavy duty adhesive velcro!

pants: Used a sleep pant pattern. I used white hair ties for the bottom ankle opening. I colored them with permanent marker with blue and red,but that wasn't smart. It came off everywhere. -_- But it's ok 'cause it was so far down my leg, it wouldn't have made a difference if I had them or not. >_< sack: Mark helped with this! :P Just a random cut and all handsewn. Yuck. wig: I was upset about spendinga lot on a one time costume, but I'm glad I did for the style I made. I purchased a cheap one as well and tested it and it look terrible. Iw as afraid I'd look terrible as a blonde, but it came out decent. :P belts: One belt was supposed to be lined with grommets, but those are always pricey 'cause they're in style. So instead, I bought a vinyl belt and a box of brads (you know, those little silver studs used to fasten scrapbooks, etc?) and simply pushed them through. To keep the belts at an angle, I used adhesive velcro to the pants waistband.
