success. What's even more exciting than your
polished words of poetic thought, shared with a world
hungry for imaginative nourishment, resolution of violence
and peace, is the mystical images wrought by the Blue
Mountains artist Jordana Archer.
In my view and from what I have seen so
far, they are simply stunning and, the care and hard work of you
and your illustrator's silent perseverance, has cheered up
these weary eyes. Her ethereal paintings and
elaborate sketches of transmuting forms, are a perfect
compliment to your obvious skill in figurative
underpinnings of all too practical language and 'political
correctness'. A term that I hope you have managed to
demolish once and for all by the results of your protracted
and solitary musings. And I mean that. I'm always
happy to hear of skilled Australian writers efforts being
recognised and expressing so well universal themes that
readers do identify with. |
