Ready for Release!

The Book of Mists is a look at life through poetry and artwork -- a mystical looking at the trials and tribulations of our daily lives. The focus is on celebration, of enjoyment and our ability to overcome.   The Book is organised into segments.  Each has a common thread or theme running through, merging the poetry and visual art.  The segments are:
 
COMPANION PIECES   Dealing with memory,  nostalgia and the promises of childhood.
 
CALL TO ARMS  Carpe Diem, Seize the Day, L'aventure -- l'aventure.   Taking up the challenge, reaching out to others, trying to make things happen -- make a difference.
 
LOVE LETTERS  Love lost and found.   The challenges of living, loving and letting go.
 
AIRY NONSENSE AND MEMORABILIA A bit of fun.    Humour is a serious business.
 
REQUIEM   Loss and mourning.   Coping with devastation.  Sympathy for how others are feeling.  Helping one another through the day.
 
RENAISSANCE   A new day.  A new beginning.  The pattern is fulfilled.  And the cycle begins again.  
 
We have tried to provide an almost haunting recollection of feelings, ideas and experiences that readers can identify with and return to -- with comfort and a feeling of deja vu.
