The group raced through space and time. Everything around them was black as ink. The group appeared in an open field; the sky was clear and the sun shined. A gentle breeze blew across the field, making the grass dance back and forth. In the background, mountains blended with the sky. Hogo took a step forward as he looked around, his eyes began to fill with tears, “This is your planet?” he asked. “Yep!” shouted Goku with pride.Hogo turned back to Goku and Krillin, “Sorry, I didn't mean to cry. Your planet reminds me so much of my own, before the destruction.” Hogo closed his eyes and allowed the gentle wind to flow over his body. “The air on your planet is so crisp and refreshing; it feels good.” Krillin walked up to Hogo and placed his hand on Hogo's shoulder, “I know, it's beautiful.”Krillin and Goku gave Hogo a second more to absorb the beauty of the scene before reminding him of urgent business they must attend to. “Hogo, we need to get going. We need that formula to kill the creature.” Goku spoke with such a gentle yet serious tone.Wiping the tears from his eyes, Hogo nodded, “Of course my friends. We can admire nature once it has been saved from our enemy.” Hogo smiled at the thought. Krillin looked over to Hogo, “I imagine you will need a decent laboratory to create your formula, right?”“Of course,” nodded Hogo, “I hope you know of one.” “Don't worry, Goku and me will take you to a place.” Giving assurance to Hogo, Krillin focused his attention on Goku. “Goku, we need to get to Capsule Corp, the laboratory there is one of the best in the world. I think it will suit Hogo perfectly.” Goku agreed and took Hogo in his arms. The two warriors took to the sky like jets, blasting through the clouds to reach their destination.
The air wasn't very pleasing to the skin at such a high speed, at least, it wasn't to Hogo. “We're almost there!” yelled Krillin. “Good!” shouted Hogo, but he wasn't sure Krillin heard him, or even cared to hear a reply. Goku stopped suddenly, his eyes filled with a horror. Krillin stopped and looked back, “What's wrong Goku?” Goku didn't reply, his face frozen with fear. “Damnit Goku! What is it!?” yelled Krillin.Goku looked at Krillin, “Can't you feel it . . . that . . . power.” Goku's speech began to space out. “What!?” Krillin became very serious, his heart pounding in his chest. He could feel his body tense with fear. Sweat dripped from his forehead. “It's coming towards us, isn't it?” Krillin could barely mutter the words.Hogo began to speak, “It's Bioretsu. He's very intelligent; I'm pretty sure he is able to recognize my power signature. He knows something is up.” “Goku, ” Krillin balled his fist, “Get Hogo to Capsule Corp. I will try to hold Bioretsu off.”“But Krillin, that power is enormous, you'll be killed.” shouted Goku, his voice filled with emotion. Krillin turned his head to Goku, “I know. . .” A tear fell from Krillin's eye.“You are a great person, be strong.” Goku hugged Krillin with his empty arm. “Now get going Goku.” Krillin shoved Goku away. Goku nodded and flew off into the sky, which now began to darken. Nimbus clouds floating by, ready to burst with rain.As suddenly as Goku disappeared into the horizon, Bioretsu appeared in front of Krillin. Krillin was shocked at the appearance of Bioretsu, he didn't fit the profile of a horrific monster. The creature had the appearance of a man, a very attractive man. His hair had the blue tone of a night sky, his skin was pale and smooth. The creature's eyes shimmered purple like finely shaped amethysts. However, this did not sway Krillin from his goal. The creature began to speak, “Where is Hogo?” His voice had a sweet tone to it. Krillin replyed, “Go to hell Bioretsu!”“I've already created my own hell, no need to goto one.” The creature laugh at his own remark. “Now, where is Hogo?!” “If you want Hogo, you have to get through me!” Krillin stood firm, not hinting any sign of fear. “I though so.” The creature smirked.Krillin whispered under his breath, “I will stop it.”
