Bird Stamps featuring the Gouldian Finch
This page shows the stamps from their native land of Australia

Postage stamps from all over the world have beautiful artwork that goes almost unnoticed by many people. These two pages have only Gouldian Finch stamps and as you will see, they are art in miniature form. It's not surprising that Australia's stamps are so beautifully done, because it's their bird and they treasure it. Birds are a favorite subject with topical collectors. I think it's interesting to see that many different countries that have had stamps with the Gouldian Finch on them.

My thanks to those people who have sent me scans and to those who sold me stamps and made it so easy to purchase them. This has been a fun project with the help of so many kind people.
Copyright for all postage stamps belongs to governments, publishers, or artists I assume. As far as I'm able to figure out it is alright to show them on websites.
