:::About this Layout - sea of dreams 9.0

Original Image - none

Made In - Adobe Photoshop 7

Comments - a very strange experiment that I did because I wanted to improve on using anchoring points. Amazingly, the layout didn't turn out too half bad. no images, brushes, or textures used at all. :D i'm proud of my accompishment. the flower in the corner makes me really happy too~ when i made it, it turned out kind of lopsided/non-circular, so i was a bit upset, but it actually looks pretty good in the corner like that. also the first graphic of mine in which i utilise tiny text. will i use this technique in the future? damn straight. the wave/ribbon things were um.. made on accident. something along thie lines of scribbling something with a brush and then distorting it totally. the sakura magically appaeared when my brain cracked. an overall simple layout, but i find it a decent job. flower tutorial from pootato.org. i recommend this site highly to you!

:::Past Layouts -

v7.0 - Digital Dream
my first layout made in PS 7. hmm.. not much to say... for this one, i really like the tranquility and surrealness it evokes. ..or is that just me who thinks that? *laughs* anyways, this layout was made in accordance to one of takiko's web graphic tutorials. at this specific point in time, when "Digital Dream" was made, my photoshop skills sucked like butter rubbed all over a sardine can. so, i decided to try out some Photoshop tutorials, in order to famlilarize myself with the program. and i must say, it did not turn out so shabby. only thing is, i wish i left more space at the top of the blog. because i get this annoying cramped feeling. however, in doing that, i would have to reposition all my div layer coordinates, and re-slice the image again. maybe someday when i'm not so lazy busy.
v6.0 - Sarasouju no Komoriuta
made in PS 7. this layout was made after Digital Dream, i just happened to use it first. my second attempt at making a layout in my recently acquired Adobe Photoshop 7 without using any tutorials. my try on it was hideous. o_O; so i gave up and went off to work. when i came home, my sister had apparently dropped by and finished the entire thing. making it very very pretty. don't know particulary why she finished it for me, but it's still one of my favorites. o-o; cover of Kagrra,'s single Sarasouju no Komoriuta.
v5.0 - golden afternoon
made in PSP 7. the third layout that i made by myself. actually ended up using a normal print font this time, instead of something weird. i never really had the image sketched out in my mind before i started it. all i knew was "Alice in Wonderland", "Mad Tea Party" and "Golden Afternoon". and it just kind of sprung up from there. o_O; the effects were actually pretty fun to play around with. Feathering and HSB noise were especially fun to combine. :D they gave my font the nice stripey look. however, when i camde down to the decorations, i was a bit befuddled at what to do. the grey/beige decorations are all pixel art. i initally drew in the vine, the card soldier and part of the turtle. then kikumi wandered in and (for some reason) finished the turtle for me, drew a key, and that nice lacy header you see. the chersire cat picture was stolen from the original book's illustrations, threshold-tized, and colorized. not a particularly difficult layout to make. but coding for it was a pain. much love to kathy who helped me figure the entire thing out!!!!
v4.36 - nEGATIVE
a gift from my darling kathy. she wanted to make me a layout, so i just gave her the picture for it. o__o; yeah.. i had also made my own version of it, which is why this layout has been sitting in my computer for a year. but i lahv it kathy~~~ hountou arigatou~~ <3 <3 *blows kisses*
v4.0 - nEGATIVE
made in PSP7. one of my favorite layouts~ i improved so much within such a short period of time!! :D <3 i don't know what i did, but whatever it was, it made my layout super SEXY. too bad i had to go and merge a bunch of layers on the .psp. i have no idea what i did on the layout now. yeah.. this is one of my best layouts.. the reds, blacks, greys, and whites really fit together well. such a lovely picture from Fatal Frame as well~~ i forget which one though.. FFI? or FFII? if i could change anything about this layout.. eh.. the column dividers are butt ugly. >>; i wanted filmstrips!
v3.0 - Teatime
made in PSP7. my first layout that i happened to make by myself. even now, i still hate its gosh darn guts. what was i thinking when i made this ugly thing? ><; the only things i like about this layout are the blog entry divider and the pretty button that accompanied it. and.. yeah.. that's about it. o_o; please punch me if i ever make something this hideous again. the picture of the teacup was such a pretty one too! ;_; *slaps self for butchering image*
v2.0 - ~Aozora
made in PSP7, also made by lovely sister Kikumi. can't you see how much she's improved over such a short period of time?~ :D even though it's really old, it's still one of my favorite layouts <3. the only thing i wish she had improved upon was the blogging area and info area. those places are butt ugly. >>; uwawawa~ my mp3 rotation also started on here~ then it got taken down due to difficulties. *sniff* the image was randomly snatched off of google, ..i think....
v1.0 - Kami
made in PSP7. my first layout made by my sister, Kikumi. it was actually pretty good. this was the from the strange strange time where i was too HTML inadequate and naive to understand that my entry area could be a repeated background. therefore, i manually added in my bloglines. *gags* huu huu~ i fell in love with j-rock at such a young age. Kami (drummer) of Malice Mizer. you rock! >w<
