The fishermen in Puerto Vallarta have a saying, "Febrero Loco, Marzo Otro Poco".  Translated it means more or less, "Crazy February, March a Little More Crazy".  It is usually said in reference to the sea conditions and definitely sounds more poetic in Spanish.  This March the expression was quite appropriate in reference to the actual fishing as well as the weather.

Steve Guardi got considerably more than he was expecting on the 4th of March.  Check out the 4 charters that he and Stuart Smith enjoyed this month.

Another Lady Angler dazzled Phil with her skill and enthusiasm.  Don't miss Rita Ashikian's trip on the SOL.

And yet another Bass trip to Cajon de Peñas and Phil STILL missed the turn off.  Phil took Ron Kugkitsh, our son-in-law Petr and his father Jan for a day on this beautiful lake and it was fabulous.

Phil's Ultimate Surf Casting experiences were ill timed in March.  He finally achieved his goal and landed a Roosterfish on his own gear but could not seem to do this when anyone was watching.  See how Phil managed to catch, photograph and release a 35 pound Rooster on his own.  (we are not impressed with the photography)  Dillon Grippo spent a day with Phil in search of any kind of fish but all they managed to lure was a Crocodile.  Dillon headed out on his own the next day and landed a 21 pound Jack from Punta Negra.

Phil had the pleasure of fishing with a number of talented kids in March.  These two 8 year olds showed some very advanced fishing skills.  Check out Fisher Kid of the Month Andy and Fisher Kid of the Month runner up Cody

Brenda and Larry who had a pretty remarkable charter experience in October 2001 came back to celebrate a belated honeymoon and fished with Captain Kurt on the ESPERANZA.  Check out a recap of their last amazing experience and see how they made out on March 31st.

Take a look at what new Puerto Vallarta resident David checked out before he checked out the employment situation.

Check out a new real estate project being offered by our daughter Nicole and Tere Kimball.  Sea River Tower is oceanfront and ideal as an investment into future fishing trips for you and your friends in Puerto Vallarta.

Here is yet another Fishy Recipe of the Month for preparing Dorado.  Yuck!
