Stuart and Steve on the Discovery |

Steve landed 4 huge Dorado on the 4th as well. Stuart did not miss the final day and the pair brought in another 7 Dorado to finish off their vacation. These guys came to Puerto Vallarta with the Philly Fishing Club to celebrate Stuart's Birthday and neither of them could convince any other members of the 'Fishing Club' to join them? What's up with this? Congratulations to Stuart on his birthday and Steve on his surprise catch of the month. |

The beginning of March provided an exceptional charter. Stuart Smith and Steve Guardi had reserved the DISCOVERY for 4 days and had realistic expectations as to what they may expect to hook. |

After 2 days of catching a good number of Dorado, Stuart stayed at the hotel and sent Phil and Steve out on their own, a sad mistake for Stuart. This day, the 4th of March was the year's biggest surprise to date. |

While trolling dead bait at the 3:30 spot, Steve hooked a Marlin! We never lead anyone to believe that they have even the slightest chance of finding a Marlin before the beginning of July but Steve did it and this was the best charter of the month. |

It gave Captain Cacho a great deal of pleasure to get on the radio and report this event to the rest of the fleet. The photos that we have of this day show a huge wake behind the DISCOVERY and Cacho was likely exceeding 22 knots to get back to the dock to show off his trophy. |
