Brenda and Larry Married |

The last charter of the month was aboard the ESPERANZA. Brenda and new husband Larry had fished with Phil and Captain (el Guapo) Danny 2 years ago and their charter is still being discussed. In October 2001, this couple along with Phil witnessed an amazing sight. Suddenly a hooked 80-pound Yellowfin tuna swam toward the boat and hid in the shade almost trembling. Brenda thought that she had lost the fish. Without warning a Marlin that must have been well over 1,000 pounds and the same length as the 26' boat speared the tuna, cut the line with it's fin then swam around the boat and ate the tuna. |

Of course in March Brenda and Larry realized that something like this was highly unlikely but they had a great day just the same with Captain Kurt. Each of the pair landed Roosters, Brenda caught a Dorado and Larry hooked a Pompano while spin casting. |
