Unveiling


Lara-su, the future child of Knuckles and Julie-su, first appeared in Sonic Comics #106,Reunification. This story tells about a 14 year old Lara-su, taking the name Jani-ca so as not to raise any alerts, who travels from the future to the present, in the hopes of saving her father, Knuckles. Shielding the truth from a young Lara, Julie-su told her that Knuckles was killed by Constable Remington, whereas what really happened was Knuckles absorbed to much chaos energy, and is currently leading the Dark Legion.

Since then, Lara-su has reappeared in Sonic Comic #132, Mobius: 25 Years Later -- The Unveiling." This story focuses on the lives of the freedom fighters 25 years in the future. Lara-su is now 16, and celebrating her unveiling, or the female echidna coming-of-age ceremony.
