Stitching Precautions

1) When selecting a design, use good judgment. Choose a design that respects the owner's theme, and that compliments and is proportional to the other designs.

2) Follow all of the owner's special instructions - do not include beads if the owners does not want beads.

3) If possible, use the same type of floss as the owner.

4) Between stitching sessions, keep projects in the bags they in which they came so that they may stay as clean as possible.

5) Keep projects away from small children and pets.

6) Try not to have food, drink, or cigarettes near projects when working on them.

7) If you use a hoop or frame, please remove it between stitching sessions.

8) Do not iron or wash other stitchers’ projects.

9) Smokers, please respect others in the group by airing the envelope and it's contents before sending it on. Alternatively, with the owner's consent, you may replace the smell of smoke with that of coffee or vanilla. Place the envelope and its contents inside of a plastic container. Place either a fresh vanilla Bounce sheet or a small open container of fresh coffee grounds inside of the plastic container. Do not allow either to touch the fabric. Seal the container so that it is airtight and allow to sit for at least a day.
