Selecting a Theme

Selecting a theme for your project is one of the most important aspects of the Round Robin. After all, you are going to have to look at it, presumably, for a long time. Choose wisely.

You can either select a relatively general theme, like Christmas, or a precise theme, such as Santa. Let your personal tastes be your guide. Of course there are many different styles within a theme, so be sure to indicate to the other stitchers whether you want them to follow a specific style or whether any style within the theme goes.

Choosing a theme that suits you is only limited by your imagination. That being said however, please try to select a theme in which patterns are readily available to the average stitcher. Alternatively, you may choose a relatively obscure theme if you are prepared to send patterns to the other stitchers within your group.
