Slayers ~ Medieval Mayhem!

07/12/02 - I finally got around to posting chord progressions to the Cowboy Bebop song "Call Me Call Me" for anyone who's musically inclined. They've been hanging out around the Slayers Webpage folder in my computer for a while, but I couldn't think of any other place to put them..... My blog, maybe?

04/06/02 - I've been busy lately, but still have an update for you. I recently returned from vacation in Japan (anyone who wants to read about that can do it here) and have had some minor changes at work, as well as comtemplating school and planning to move. Lots of work. I've reviewed all of winter's anime watching in a nice rant for you. No updates in fanfiction yet. Sorry. I'm thinking of buying a scanner, though, so there might be some fan art sometime in the near future ;-) .

02/26/02 - I've finished uploading Elizabeth Smith's fic "Pain and Healing" fic. You can go see it in the fanfics section.

02/19/02 - I've got a little start on the fanfics - Renfield's "Karaoke Night" and Vanessa St. Cloud's "Slayers For The Future: The Prophecy of Inverse" are up and finished!

01/28/02 - GOGAI! GOGAI! GOGAI! ....... Whoo, the first update of the new year..... well not really. I've been updating offline sporadically for the past while, re-doing pages, finishing up pending projects on the computer, going to my job, etcetera. I've added some newbies to the swag list, but the thing is I can't remember if I updated that before now. I've also entirely revamped my rants, and made them easier to take (be warned, I feel another one coming on soon) and that took a while. I've also started doing what I said I would a year ago and am starting to finally compile fanfics I like. I shall post more just as soon as I get the permissions. And just as soon as I finish dealing with preparations to move and buying stuff to move. Sheesh, twice in under a year now. I'll need stuff in my new place. Excuse me while I go out and buy a potato masher.

12/04/01 - I've just finished putting a lot of work into a photo gallery of the recently attended, Aka-kon, in Richmond, BC, last month. It was a small con, but since it was my first, I didn't care. There were lots of fun and interesting things, but of the most memorable to me were meeting Lisa Ortiz and attending the cosplay. It was very fun. Would you like to see pictures? Click the daypass and have fun.

You can read an account of my day there, from an excerpt from my blog (my blogs are very long) here.

11/08/01 - Hey, all. I've just added a new store to the swag list called J-pop Help, as well as an update on the About Me part of the page. Also new is a couple of new rants, though I'm not sure how new the second one is - I think I just forgot to upload. I'm getting excited about the anime convention coming next weekend. Even though it's small, I've never been to one before and I think it's going to be fun. I should make a point to buy film, shouldn't I?

08/13/01 - Well hoopla, readers! I survived graduation and my summer and whatnot and have some news for you. First off, I ranted two rants, and have done some slight alterations to the links page. Though I wouldn't imagine that would be noticed. Also, and more importantly, I seem to have been awarded an award for my site. Starry Eyes has decided to grace my page with her lovely award which you can see here. The award page is also new, since I needed a place to put it. I suppose it's about time to update the 'me' page, I guess I'll do that next time, OK? Take care!

06/18/01 - New thing: the jellyfish to your left. I think its so cute! I recently got Paint Shop Pro again (this time it's not an evaluation, either) and can fiddle with pictures again. What fun! I also finished my last day of highschool today. How cool is that. Now for three exams and that'll be the end of my government funded education. I never thought I'd see the day... Be prepared for a new rant on next update.

06/14/01 - Damn near out of school am I, am I. And am I glad, too. Then comes the exams. Everybody pray I do well and graduate and get on with life. So, what all new? I moved the site to a new server this month. Say hello to Eccentrix.com, the nice people who don't put banners or ads on my page. Hopefully they'll be better than SlayersCity.com, which has been down now for the past few months. *sigh* Too bad, I kinda liked that nifty URL I had there. LOL And I don't even notice my own page is down until a month later because I only see it on my hard drive. Whoops. I was so busy finding a new server (I'm picky - I will NOT allow ads) and busy with trying to graduate that I haven't done much with this page lately. But no matter - as it was down, there was no one there to see it, right? Heehee. So the only thing you've got is another demented rant. I know, I know, you hate those, but I have to vent somewhere! I really should ge my fanfic and art sections up, but..... [insert excuse # 1]..... I don't have a scanner. See? Later, like maybe in the summer. I literally have a pile (actually a Bailey's can) of stuff queued "to scan". I'll just add it. So yeah, new server and a redirect. I hate those things, but I grudgingly use it for links that I won't be able to update should I move again, like MP3 ID3 tags and the Anipike, which I recently submitted my site to.

04/24/01 - Woohoo! I only had a half day of school today, in the afternoon no less! So I got bored and tabbed out another Eric Stuart song, Heaven in a Cadillac, and lament the problems with my stupid guitar. I also ranted for a bit about the making and loss of a friend at work over the past few weeks, that I now miss.

04/17/01 - I got some Eric Stuart guitar tabs up, for "Staring You In The Face" and "One Good Reason". I've also beein plugging away at the voice actors & seiyuu page. That's 'bout it for now...

04/07/01 - Scratch that... MP3s aren't up. The server I had them on decided to reformat their stupid hardware and therefore, all my files were deleted. See the MP3 page for more on that.

03/16/01 - Got the MP3s up again. All that has not been deleted has been moved and is now online and operational. Yay that...

03/14/01 - I've been working away as of late at moving the Mp3s over onto another server. So far I got the ETCETERA 1 CD operational. I've also added some more Mp3s to the collection, which I'll list here since the page isn't up: Naked Mind [Off-Vocal Version], Run All The Way [Off-Vocal Version], and Niji ni You ni [Off-Vocal Version]. Thanks goes to Delita for encoding the Run All The Way! I'm sorry that not all of you can't see the colour job on the frames. I've looked at my page on other people's computers, and some'll show it and some won't. It only works on version 5.5 to my knowlege, and doesn't work in Netscape. So some of you were probably scratching your heads when I said how I liked the spiff frames. "Gees, woman, what's go great about grey frame bars?" Yeah, well.... Whadda ya gonna do? I don't know what to say. But I CAN say this: I spent the night last night until 3am working on a biology lab and am now VERY tired, but as I was stalling on the biology lab (which was so big, it took a grand total of eight hours to complete), I ranted another rant. In other news, I moved all the Sounds Page's contents onto the new server as well, and there's a couple new midis there. I think. They've all been on my computer for so long, I forget what's new and what's not. I'll be moving the Outlook stationeries and other miscellaneous crap there soon too.

03/06/01 - *sigh* Just puttering before my nap. I updated my links, adding the two fanfiction mailing lists I joined, and the Milgazia page, so you can check that out, if you like. I notice that the frames don't do the colour thing on either Macs or IE 3. Prolly the browser, stupid thing. Hope it looks good in Netscape and on Macs. I only have IE5 to see it on, so, yeah...

03/05/01 - Like the new frames? I know, I know, but I just got tired of the tables. They're SO hard to update. This'll be easier. And it took me all day to get the colours right. Wish me luck ~ I didn't study for a test because I was doing THIS! Oh well. WAIT! TWO TESTS! Damn... Anyway, yeah, I think the frames are kinda spiff. Hope you like it. I can do more with my page this way. I got some kool new Slayers MP3s and I think I may have found a new home for my ailing MP3 collection. Keep ya posted. Ja matta!

03/04/01 - Umm, I made another rant today. As of late, my MP3 accounts have been being jailed. Grrr... So, I'll be moving them over. Please don't email me and tell me that they don't work. I know, and I'm working on it. However, if there's a song you reallyreally want, email me, and we might be able to arrange an email sorta thing. Okies, all? I went to a great page about Milgazia today. Check it out if you like: Dragon's Peak: Milgazia no Haiden. I like it ~ very informational. Lots of pictures, too, even though Mil tends to look similar in many of them. And what's with those novel pictures?! @.@;; Heehee, gotta love the eyebrows. Sportin' a la Gaav.

02/03/01 - I added a couple of new pages within the last few weeks. Let's see.... We got the About... page, which is about me, and a bit about the background of yours truly's website, and a bit about me, too. Also new to the roster is the Ranting... page, which is basically where I spew my random thoughts in a most verbose manner. Hurray for that ~ everyone will be bound to be bored to tears, but, eh, whatcha gonna do? Umm, there's gonna be about 3 new MP3s up this week, I'm reposting Naked Mind Live, because it seems to be giving syntax errors to people who try to access it, as well as Live renditions by Masami Okui of "Get Along", and "Jama wa Sasenai". Those three'll be up in a bit. And a little work to the Try BGM tracklist. That's about it, so until next time, ja ne!

01/12/2001 - At long last, I got a translated tracklist for the Try BGM 2 CD. I left some of the songs in Japanese though, to keep from having to relabel and reupload (OOH! A THIRD time! Joy!) them, and to avoid confusion. So, I should finish that CD, (and with it, the TV series) very soon. Well, as soon as I can, at least. I also fixed some problems with the Slayers Return page and added a file to the Slayers Perfect page. Productivity ~ It's a good thing! ;-)

01/05/2001 - Happy New Year to you all, I trust you had a great holiday. I did ~ But I sure don't want to go back to school :-( I just finished fixing the page AGAIN, so that it works in 800x600 resolution and higher. Didn't I do that already? Heheheh, I always screw up. As per usual, I have some new MP3s posted, and have fixed the broken links on the ETC 2 CD. Still trying to get my crap together with the Try BGM 2 album. I have the MP3s sitting in my hard drive, I just don't have the names yet. I'll have that page done ASAP, I hope. I'm hoping to have it done by the end of the month. And NBCi seems to be handling downloads quite well lately, it seems. Good, good. Anyway, later guys!

12/24/2000 - Merry Christmas, all! I got all the files moved over, as promised, and everything's rolling again with that. The Try BGM 2 page is down temporarily whilst I reupload all the files for it, since I mislabelled them >.<; D'oh! I'll blame it on the tracklist from Anime Nation! :P So, yeah, if any of you guys out there has a romanized tracklist for that CD you could send me, it would be greatly appreciated Even an English translated one would be better than nothing. I sat there and stared at the list on the back of the CD and only fared to get about half of them. Also, I've added some more stuff to the Slayers Return and Slayers Perfect pages. I've added a disclaimer page, too, so people can't sue me, and I've done what I should have done a long time ago, and put the filesize beside the downloads. *exhales* I'm done...

12/15/2000 - I'm still working at getting those OVA MP3s working and moving them onto the other server and all that junk. Expect those to be working by the end of the weekend. .:Not that I have anything better to do:. *ahem* AAAARRGH! So much work! If it wasn't too icy to drive someplace, I'd enjoy having a LIFE! Oh well, what can you do? I've also got my forum working so drop it a line and say 'hi'. Later!

12/14/2000 - I got the Music Page working and all, but I'm seeming to have some problems with the Terrashare server - it likes to give out 404's even though the files are all there, so don't worry about them, I'll move them onto the wonderfully SLOW and stupid, yet nice enough to have not deleted my files as of yet, NBCi server. And it's SNOWING! WOOHOO! That Terrashare server is might weird-acting on the FTP transfers, I don't trust it at all....

12/11/2000 - Well, I've started working on the MP3 page, and make it match the rest of the page. I've finished the first page, and an working on the rest. They shouldn't take nearly as long. I'm not sure what to do with the album covers yet and how to display them, but I'm sure that'll all come together soon enough. That's all for now.

12/02/2000 - I think I might well be getting this thing working. I have a lot of work yet to do, so don't mind the mess and the, er, non-consistency of this site. But feel free to poke around. Nothing new here other than me trying frantically to change the layout of my site. I'm still undecided about what to do with the MP3 page... And am MAD MAD MAD (!!!) about the stupid resolution I designed it for. Sorry, my monitor's a piece of crap. I guess I'll have to do something about that. I'll get to it...Anyway, I recommend you view this page in Microsoft Internet Explorer. I'm not sure how well it fares on Netscape, I haven't tested yet. But due to the extensive use of tables, I think IE would be best. Sorry if you don't like the tables, but it was the best way to allow easy navigation for frames and non-frames people alike. Anyway, if you want to go to the MP3 page, be sure to view it in 640x480. (Shut up and stop laughing at my monitor!) That's what it was designed for, and will remain as such till I can get to dealing with it. Later!
