Serenity Yoshimoto (Ren) is an simple, ordinary schoolgirl who thinks there isn't anything special about her until she finds a mysterious heart key in the girl's washroom. Later on, her rival Marcus Cheng (Sharky), steals her precious pandabear toy from her and forces her to be his slavegirl or else she won't get it back... (and he'll do bad things to it). Anyways... He takes her to his house (in case you didn't know, they're next-door neighbors) so that she can do his chores for him, and this is where she meets his cousin, Ryosuke Kayana, who happens to be a famous actor from England staying at his cousin's house for the summer. All of a sudden, Ren's friend, Sphynx calls her on her cell and tells her that she'll be coming over. When she does come over, a demon, known as a yami demon, possesses her soul... She attacks Ren and Sharky without recognition to friend or foe. (And Ryosuke seems to be somewhere hidden... watching closely...) Ren's powers awaken and she meets, Kor3, the loveable teddybear thingy. (You'll learn more about him later.) Anyways Ren becomes the "Wielder of the Blade", saves Sphynx by vanquishing the demon with her blade.
