Character Description:

Yay! First time costuming at the Renaissance Faire! Been almost every year since I could remember, and I  never had the time to make a costume. This is from Simplicity pattern # 8715.

Commentary:
I had started a RenFaire costume a few years back, but didn't mange to finish it in time, nor did I have time to pick it up and finish it years later. Well, this year I decided to stop putting it off. The bodice was done already from the time we were going in costume, so it was much easier to finish. Why I used so much muslin? It was so hot in that costume as it was, and especially in Phoenix, you need something light! (And cheap too!) And the reason it is already retired - Joe and I plan on doing new costumes each year - next year, Spanish Renaissance! ala Don Juan and Miguel! :P
