Lullabies

On a cloud she sleeps
because beneath her
runs wild the horses
she loves to ride
over hills lush and never
ending; gentle like waves

In a meadow she sleeps
because around her
flowers bloom and smell
of sweet dreams
like fresh air and blue skies
and odd flying fish

Under the stars she sleeps
because above her
watch so lovingly
the angels that pray
so softly, so softly,
like lullabies.. she sleeps.
