Two Days

... and the street lights change color
every twenty minutes
but sometimes too fast for my eyes to catch.
often times they change;.. never,
not even once a day...
...but no one really cares.
and two days later someone
dies,
no one knows why
and no one knows his name
what he looks like
what he prefers to do in his free time
what he will eat for dinner tonight;...
...although,.. no one really cares.
and, the street lights will change color
every twenty minutes.
but not even once a day.
