Note: For
those of you using AOL/Internet Explorer, please be patient - I've been
doing my best to make it work on both IE and Netscape. Thanks!

Though somehow we still

Welcome to the Official Trevor G. Browne High school 2003-2004 Marching Band
Flagline website. Trevor G. Browne is located somewhere in the
sunny city of Phoenix, AZ and is known for its orange and brown atmosphere,
and the mascot, the mighty Bruin. The marching band is especially
known for its hard work and spirit, and usually can be heard and seen rehearsing
and marching their show on the stadium field between 7am and 9am, and most
of them tend to stick around much later the ordinary student to pack
in as more practice time as possible, or even marching through campus Friday
mornings to pump the school up before a game. Either way, we're here,
so move outta the way!
For those of you that don't know, our band director is Mr. Randy Adams, teaching
here at Trevor Browne for his second year. Filling in for guard (psuedo)
instrutor is your trusty webmistress me, Jessika
Malic. And why a psuedo-instructor? DeAnn Adams (Mr. Adam's wife), who
was the instructor last year, has a lot on her plate this year, and will
be doing choreography only.
Anyway.. onto what this website is about. This place is basically just
to familiarize you (if you're from the band, then get to know the flaggies
if you don't already :) and to let everyone in the world out there
and guards not NOT BAD!! We hate it when people compare us to cheerleaders
or call us "cheerleader wannabes" because there is a big difference between
the two. Marching, attention, angles and tosses.. so ha! Remember
that the next time you are about the make the comparison! :) Anyway,
flagline is really a lot of work - rolling you feet, smiling, sliding while
doing the routine.. or even tossing! It's an incredible
job but those of you who do it know that it's a great and fun one to do.
I also designed this website because there are so few colorguards sites out
there. Very few sites actually contain information about flaglines or
show details, etc. Hopefully this will inspire others to contribute
as well.
So if you would like to find out more about our great flagline or marching
band, simply select a link from the left hand column and wander as you so
please. Feel free to join in the message board and see what's going
on- we welcome anyone! Email us with any comments, suggestions or whatever!
Have fun!

Finally, sorry about
that awful delay page. It was the best way to keep the ads from staying
around.
Thanks for visiting!
