On this page are some traditions we as a band and guard do together.

    Band Traditions
 

-Every morning, the band gets in a large circle and does group stretches
-In the circle, drummajors choose a number and we do however many jumping jacks. If anyone goes past that number, we keep going to higher numbers until we all stop on the same count.
-Big Brother/Sister Program: each first year is paired up with a veteran and get-togethers are planned to be with your siblings.
-Before the first home game of the season, we have a huge ceremony.
-After each home game (since we get back so late on away games) the band celebrates victory at the local Peter Piper Pizza.

-After a good practice or before a performance, the flagline usually does their call "We don't beat or blow we woosh!" when called to attention to up morale.
-Right before a performance, the flagline gives each other thumb kisses for good luck (pressing each other's thumbs together while making a kiss noise)
-Usually for Christmas we have a party and exchange gifts and a party at the end of the year.
