Here you'll find various catchy tunes and calls that we ( the band ) have used in order to up morale or tease the opposing team. They may sound familiar, perhaps a few words changed here or there, but it's usually the same tune everyone else uses. I'm not entirely sure on the names, but I'll label them as we usually call them.
Bruins, Bruins
(accompanied by the occasional drum beat)
(sung to the drum cadence, As You Were) Bruin Territory
(sometimes accompanied with improvised motions) Beep Beep!
(with hand motions) B.R.U.I.N.S.
B-B-B-R-U, How Do You Feel?
Hey <band, or section, sometimes cheerleaders or person's name>
Response, with actions: Shake Your Booty
Hey, <band, or section, sometimes cheerleaders or person's name>
Response: No way!
Hey, <band, or section, sometimes cheerleaders or person's name>
Response: Okay! Spirit War
(with opposing band, if they happen to know the game, and usually cheerleaders
join in)
Continue repeating for a while, and then finally respond with lots of banging
of the drums: Weenie Man
Courtesy of Horzon Marching Band (thanks guys!)
I know a weenie man
