Students completing this course will gain academic knowledge and skills in the following areas:

v     Understanding substantive business and personal law

v     Understanding legal procedures and the range of legal remedies

v     Understanding the sources and methods of legal research

v     Using precise legal language

v     Analyzing and Applying principles to legal situations.

v     Formulating and argument based on facts and principles

v     Expressing facts, principles, and arguments in writing.

Students will have insight into the legal system, the dynamic nature of the law, the rights and duties of citizens, consumers, workers, and business owners.
