THE TRUTH ABOUT YOUR WRITING AND THE INTERNET
You can find anything you want on the web including a ton of writer's markets. Writer's guidelines are here by the thousands. If you want to pay for it you can use a database like writersmaket.com or you can use Google and search terms like "writer's market" or "writer's guidelines". The truth is that there are many ways you can find pages of websites and articles on how to get published. The problem is that there are so many. It is impossible for a writer to read articles/short stories/poems on all of these pages. It is likewise impossible for a writer to find how many of these markets are still active, i.e. accepting submissions. When I have used google to find potential markets for my work I have found that fewer than 10% of potential markets are still open. In addition to that, many of the ones that are are non-paying markets, including websites run by individuals on a budget. Response times tend to be long, if you get a response at all. Others are markets less interested in finding and publishing good work than in keeping the money coming in by publishing work by their subscribers.
On this site you will find only markets for your writing that are still active, and coming soon we will also offer the service of proofreading and submitting your works to the most appropriate markets. Email me here if you are interested: salohcin@emailaccounts.com
